A letter from 5th July, 2026

Public

Dear Han in 2029 I bet that you have finished the degree in FTU right? What do you do right now? These are some first days I decided to become an IELTS teacher. Do you think that it works in the future? I hope that I would earn 100 million VND at that time. Right now I'm craving for a fuji camera, a new laptop, and a new phone. If you could not earn those money, that's ok, I knew that you have tried so hard. Just remember that I am here, I believe that you can do it, I'm proud that you are alive to that day. Life is precious, you know. Who knows I'm gonna die tmr, or next month, or sth.

Dear Future Me, I hope you’re reading this letter with pride, because right now in 2026. I’m working hard to build the life I want. I’m trying to finish high school and getting ready for my big step, joining the military. I know it won’t be easy but I'm choosing this path because I want to be more disciplined, be strong and have real experience that will shape me into a person. I’m meant to become. Over the next 5 years. I hope you’ve grown into someone confident, focused and resilient. I imagine you’ve learned how to push through challenges, lead others and stay committed even when things get tough. I hope you’ve met people who inspire you and I hope you’ve inspired others too. If you ever doubt yourself along the way. I hope you kept going anyway. By the time you’re reading this in 2029 ,I hope you’re preparing for the next chapter. Nursing school. I want you to remember why this dream matters… helping people, saving lives and building a career that makes a real difference. The Military was your foundation, but nursing will be your future. I hope you’re ready to take everything you learned and use to become the kind of nurse people can trust. Most of all… I hope you’re proud of how far you’ve come. You had a plan, you stayed focused, and you kept believing in yourself. No matter where you are right now.. keep going.

A letter from 29th May, 2026

Public

Things that I would like to tell my future self is to protect my peace, I will get really far in life if I protect my peace and not let others ruin my day by their immature actions. I also want to tell my future self to never give up, even if I feel like my world is shattering into pieces I keep pushing. One thing that was hardest for me this year is maybe switching to a new school and starting to slack on my school work. I was finally back with my friends and didn't really do my work as good as I did at my old school. I was so focused on being with my friends and having such a good fun school year I forgot that I also need to be successful in school as well. Something that helped me get through my difficult moments is dancing and writing. Dance really makes me forget all about my problems and I feel free when I dance it makes me very happy. Writing lets me have a less heavy heart and I'm less stressed when I write my feelings away. I know everyone has their own problems and doesn't want to hear my problems so I like to write also just because I don't want everyone in my business. One promise that I want to make for my future self is that I will never settle for less, never give up, and that I WILL be successful mentally and physically.

Hey there, Future Self! It's me, your past self, reaching out to you from a month ago. Can you believe it? You've officially graduated high school! I know, I know, it's a huge leap into the unknown, but hey, you've got this. I know the idea of stepping into the real world can feel daunting, but trust me, you're stronger and more capable than you give yourself credit for. I can already see Nana's mischievous smile as she teases you about getting a job. That woman never misses a beat, does she? But deep down, you know she only wants the best for you. And hey, following in her and Peepaw's footsteps by heading to HCC sounds like a solid plan. They've seen more of life than we can even imagine, so let their wisdom guide you. Remember, it's okay to feel a little scared or unsure about what lies ahead. It's all part of the journey. Just take things one step at a time, stay true to yourself, and never forget that I believe in you wholeheartedly. You have the strength, determination, and spirit to create a future that would make your past self so incredibly proud. Keep your chin up, Future Self. Embrace the challenges, celebrate the victories, and always remember that you are never alone on this wild ride called life. Here's to the amazing adventures that await you. Letter from last day at Critical Friends

Public

Hiii you, Today you will be walking the stage with your awesome, adopted cohort 8!!! They welcomed you, embraced you and now you are sharing this journey with them. I hope you feel excited to be here and are proud of all the work you've done to get this far. I'm sure you will still be working on the MA for the upcoming weeks but that will get done too. You know it! Remember, to love yourself and be kind to yourself. You deserve the world, and you'd say that to others too!! So, why don't you say it to yourself? It might be hard, to see what is missing but instead see what it's in front of you. Don't long for what could have been or the what ifs. Right now, is the right now and you have it in front of you. Feel all that you need to feel but walk through it. Dude, what the heck you are getting your masters!!!!! Like omg, did you ever imagine this? I think you did, maybe we'd forget about what we wanted. Before, I'd complain why it took us so long to but it was the right time all along. You've grown so much in so many ways. People are so proud and you should be too. You'd also tell that to others. The future is always bright. You just got to open your eyes! You should be a motivational speaker. A second career? Who knows? But that's the best part, we don't know. We do have the opportunity to see and live. Ok BYE!! Have fun at the commencement and the upcoming days!!! -your past self (who just submitted her edTPA and needs to wrap up her course work!!!!)

A letter from 13th January, 2026

Public

Hey there, future proud you, Wow, can you believe you're reading this at the end of 2026? I hope the first thing that hits you is a wave of quiet pride, the kind that fills your heart with warmth and whispers, "You did it, even when no one was cheering." Do you remember where you started this year? With all that tenderness, uncertainty, faith, and that brave heart craving connection? I truly hope you look back on that version of yourself with kindness, recognizing her honesty and growth. I'm sending you all the courage in the world — not the flashy kind, but that steady, unwavering courage to stay true to yourself over seeking validation. I hope you followed your gut more than your fears, knowing when to step boldly forward and when to pause without guilt. And your career, oh, I hope it surprised you in all the best ways. Your accounting brain sharpening strategies, your marketing voice finding its confident tone, and your business journey teaching you that clarity is not just about numbers but about saving souls too. May you have documented your path authentically, attracting the right folks not with a show, but with your genuine truth. Your clothing line, whether it's fully launched or still blooming, I hope it always honors women just as you envisioned — with dignity, structure, softness, and strength. Never compromise your vision to just rush ahead. Financial peace is my wish for you — not for show, but for real freedom. May you have handled money with wisdom, shared generously, and respected yourself in the process. Learning to receive graciously is just as important as giving. Love, oh love. I pray it found you gently, whether through partnerships, friendships, or most importantly, by embracing yourself fully. May you have let others support you without feeling weak, and stood strong in your independence without feeling lonely. I hope you found those who truly see you and choose you, no questions asked. I hope your faith has grown quieter but stronger, trusting in the pauses as much as the breakthroughs. Let your prayers be moments of rest, not just requests. And above all, I hope you're still soft. Soft enough to be moved by music, to miss others without hardening, and to keep believing even after facing disappointments. If things didn't go exactly as planned, remember that detours are not failures but lessons in disguise. And if things exceeded your wildest dreams, may you stay humble and grateful. No matter what this year brought your way, please remember this: You did not waste time, you did not betray yourself, and you were never alone on this journey. I'm so incredibly proud of you — not for what you achieved, but for the beautiful soul you've continued to be on this journey of life. With love, trust, and boundless hope, Your past self

A letter from 30th December, 2025

Dear Future Self, Hey there, it's me writing to you from June 30th, 2026. Remember back on December 30th, 2025, when you made that commitment to yourself to tackle that research paper? I know how important it is to you to follow your passion and become a researcher. I hope by now you've either wrapped up that paper or, at the very least, taken some solid steps forward with it. I want you to know that I believe in you wholeheartedly. I know that these things can feel daunting at times, but your determination and drive are truly inspiring. Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection. Every little step counts, no matter how small it may seem. I also want to remind you to be kind to yourself along the way. It's okay to hit roadblocks or feel discouraged now and then. Just know that those moments don't define you. You are capable of amazing things, and I have no doubt that you will achieve everything you set your mind to. So, keep pushing forward, keep that passion alive, and never forget how capable you truly are. I'm sending you all the positive vibes and good energy in the world. You've got this, and I'm rooting for you every step of the way. Lots of love and endless support, Your past self

Dear Himanshu, Hey there, buddy! How's it going in the future? I hope you're doing great, feeling proud of all the hard work you've been putting in. So, it's me, your past self, reaching out to you from a little while back with some words of encouragement and love. I remember us writing this letter at 3:55 am, with NEET 2025 looming just 110 days away. The anxiety, the pressure, the sheer determination to crack that exam—it was all so real, wasn't it? But here's the thing, Himanshu, you are stronger than you think. You've got this. I believe in you, and I hope you believe in yourself too. You made a promise to yourself to work hard, to give it your all, and that's no small feat. I want you to know that no matter what the outcome of that exam was, you should be proud of yourself for showing up and putting in the effort. You are amazing just for trying. And hey, about that little note you left about quitting your phub addiction by now—I really hope you've made progress on that front. It's tough, I know, but every step you take towards bettering yourself counts, no matter how small. Remember, Himanshu, life is a journey, and each step, each moment, is an opportunity to learn and grow. Be kind to yourself, be patient with yourself, and always remember that you are worthy of love and happiness, no matter what. Sending you a big virtual hug and all the positive vibes in the world. Keep shining bright, my dear friend. You've got this! With love and unwavering support, Your past self
